"HOW TO LIE WITH STATISTICS" by Darrell Huff. 1954 early edition (but not 1st edition -- which has to state as such on the copyright page) of this iconic text on trickery and manipulation in statistics. Publisher: W.W. Norton & Company, New York, publisher's price of $2.95 printed on dust-jacket. Octavo, 142pp, wonderfully illustrated by Irving Geis. ~ Condition: VG+ in VG dustjacket. Book super clean and tight with very light rubbing to the corners. Owner bookplate inside front cover - no other marks within. Pages clean and sharp. Dustjacket has typical fading at the spine and some very light edge damage at the spine, as well as owner name written faintly at top right corner of front panel - otherwise nice and now protected in a new, removable mylar sleeve.
